Job summary

Surmasis Pharmaceutical seeks a Manufacturing Manager to lead contract manufacturing activities, oversee product launches, and ensure cGMP compliance. You will guide process, equipment, and quality systems, partnering with quality, engineering and maintenance to resolve technical issues.

The role requires BS in engineering/science and at least five years in pharma operations or engineering, with contract manufacturing experience as a plus.

Qualifications

• BS degree in an engineering or scientific position with at least five years of experience in an Operations or Engineering/Technical position.
• A minimum of five years of pharmaceutical or related industry experience, including late-stage development, process validation and commercial pharmaceutical cGMP manufacturing environments.
• Prior experience in working at a contract manufacturing organization is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Oversees new product launch, post-approval changes and routine commercial manufacturing activities.
• Oversees product needs planning to ensure timely supply and coordinates manufacturing activities.
• Trains and manages clean room personnel on production processes and quality systems (21 CFR 210/211 and Part 820).
• Provides technical leadership of Surmasis products with emphasis on equipment management and process.
