Job summary

Aspire Pharmaceuticals in New Jersey is seeking a Maintenance Technician to troubleshoot, repair, and maintain production equipment and facility systems used in solid dosage and capsule manufacturing.

You will perform preventive maintenance, replace worn parts, and test equipment to ensure safe, compliant operation. The role requires independent work, strong mechanical troubleshooting, and adherence to GMP and safety policies.

Qualifications

• High School or Technical Diploma required.
• 3–5 years of experience as a Mechanic or Maintenance Technician in a pharmaceutical or solid dosage manufacturing environment preferred.
• GMP-regulated environment experience strongly preferred.
• Facility maintenance experience is a plus.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
• Basic knowledge of three-phase electrical systems.
• Strong math and reading comprehension skills.
• Strong verbal and written English communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair production equipment and facility systems.
• Analyze mechanical, electrical, and operational issues and implement corrective actions.
• Perform preventive maintenance per established schedules.
• Replace worn or defective parts and ensure equipment operates efficiently.
• Test equipment after maintenance to verify proper operation.
• Identify recurring equipment malfunctions and communicate corrective actions to supervisors.
• Maintain maintenance documentation per GMP requirements.
• Perform basic three-phase electrical troubleshooting.
• Utilize basic machine shop and welding skills when required.
• Work independently with minimal supervision to complete tasks.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives to reduce downtime.
• Comply with safety, OSHA, and company policies.
