Job summary

Catalent is offering a part-time, paid student internship at our San Diego facility. This on-site role supports the preparation and cleaning of laboratory glassware and the organization of supplies within GMP-compliant practices.

Ideal candidates are currently enrolled students pursuing an Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in a scientific field, with laboratory experience preferred and a commitment to 15-20 hours per week, Monday through Friday, 7am–3:30pm. Housing/relocation not provided.

Qualifications

• Must currently be a part-time or full-time college student working to obtain an Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in a Scientific Field (Chemistry, Biology, Biochemistry preferred).
• Experience in a laboratory preferred.
• Availability to work 15-20 hours per week on-site during the hours of 7am-3:30pm, Monday-Friday (no exceptions).

Responsibilities

• Support collection and organization of laboratory glassware prior to cleaning.
• Prepare solutions for laboratory glassware cleaning.
• Participate in laboratory glassware cleaning.
• Restocking laboratory glassware.
• Ensuring storage and work areas are clean.
• Learn and comply with all GMP practices in use at Catalent.
• Other duties as assigned.
