Qualifications

• 3+ years of healthcare, pharmaceutical, life-sciences research experience.
• Experience developing or fielding surveys involving physicians, patients, HCPs.
• Strong questionnaire design and survey methodology.
• Understanding physician research considerations and clinical terminology.
• Experience with patient surveys including diagnosis history and patient journey.
• Familiarity with pharmaceutical market research environments.
• Experience with survey platforms (Qualtrics, Decipher/Forsta, Alchemer, SurveyMonkey) is a plus.
• Excellent written reasoning and precise methodological feedback.

Responsibilities

• Design, review, and refine physician and patient survey instruments for pharmaceutical research.
• Translate research objectives into clear, methodologically sound questionnaires.
• Evaluate screeners, eligibility criteria, question wording, response scales, and survey flow.
• Identify leading or problematic questions.
• Ensure questionnaires are suitable for physician, specialist, PCP, and patient audiences.
• Review survey length, respondent burden, and recall requirements.
• Assess whether questions yield reliable, interpretable data.
• Incorporate market research conventions into survey design.
• Collaborate with therapeutic-area specialists to ensure clinical accuracy.
• Provide clear written explanations and actionable recommendations for improvements.
