Job summary

Par Health, Inc. in Hobart, NY, is seeking a Tablet Process Technician to manufacture active compound materials into final tablet form and perform quality checks to ensure product consistency.

You will operate dispensing, blending and tablet presses, follow SOPs and GMP guidelines, and assist in training staff while maintaining accurate records and contributing to continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Requires basic knowledge of math, spelling, English and grammar.
• Equivalent to a high school education.
• Prefer two years of experience as a Tableting or Blending Technician.
• Computer skills in Word, Outlook and Excel; leadership ability, planning and organization skills, teamwork skills, and ability to direct coworkers in a flexible, rapidly changing environment.

Responsibilities

• Promotes and follows all safety requirements as well as GMPs in job performance.
• Check and reconcile recorded information and calculations in job folders when delegated by shift supervisor.
• Operate and set up dispensing, blending and tableting equipment and follow SOPs, cGMP and manufacturing instructions.
• Perform/review quality checks on weight, thickness, hardness and friability of tablets at various stages of the process.
• Troubleshoot problems with equipment and processing to minimize disruptions to production.
• Perform operator-level machine adjustments and lubrication; assist in minor machine repairs.
