Prostaffworkforce is seeking a Facilities & Critical Utilities Maintenance Specialist II in Billerica, MA to support operation, maintenance, and reliability of critical facility infrastructure at the site. The role emphasizes cGMP compliance and a strong mechanical background in regulated environments.

Responsibilities include maintaining facility/utility records, supporting preventive and predictive maintenance, and coordinating with vendors for improvements.

Qualifications

• Requires high school diploma or equivalent; technical certification preferred.
• Minimum 2 years related experience, preferably in pharmaceutical manufacturing.
• Experience with Building Automation Systems (BAS).
• Hazmat training.
• Proficient with hand tools and power equipment.
• Mechanical ability essential.
• Willingness and ability to obtain Boiler Specialist License; Fireman's License preferred.
• Knowledge of pharmaceutical plant operations, aseptic techniques, and GMP.
• Ability to read and create engineering drawings.
• State boilers license (Special License to Operate) preferred; electrician license preferred.

Responsabilités

• Maintain records on facility and utilities and their operation.
• Support maintenance programs aligned with cGMP engineering maintenance requirements.
• Interact with vendors for manufacturing improvements (clean utilities, boilers, chillers, etc.).
• Support preventive, predictive, corrective, and breakdown maintenance for facility and utility equipment.
• Operate facility and utility equipment; support alarm management and alarm response programs.
• Perform non-routine tasks and on-call work as needed; validate calibration and certification efforts.
• Assist in validation maintenance programs and validations for equipment and processes.
• Follow maintenance SOPs and company safety policies.
• Plan, prioritize, and organize diversified workload; troubleshoot facilities and critical utilities.
