Job summary

McGuff Pharmaceuticals, Inc. is seeking a Facilities and Maintenance Technician to oversee maintenance and repair of all equipment and facilities across McGuff operations, with minimal supervision.

The role supports cGMP manufacturing and infrastructure, ensuring readiness and reliability of plant systems. You will perform preventive and reactive maintenance per SOPs, troubleshoot manufacturing and packaging equipment, and collaborate with Production, Quality Systems, and other departments to

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years hands-on experience in fast-paced manufacturing or packaging.
• Preference for experience with sterile injectable drugs and aseptic processing.
• Strong mechanical and electrical discipline experience.
• Ability to read mechanical and electrical drawings including floor plans.

Responsibilities

• Hands on in facility, cGMP manufacturing, and infrastructure maintenance.
• Maintain functional capabilities for all equipment and facilities for McGuff Pharmaceuticals and McGuff Compounding.
• Coordinate and participate in preventive and reactive maintenance per SOPs and perform repairs.
• Develop and implement facility safety and housekeeping; train employees on hazards and safety.
• Make facility/equipment adjustments within GMP guidelines and notify Quality Systems of abnormalities.
• Lead and organize specialized maintenance and equipment projects; troubleshoot equipment.
• Monitor HVAC systems to ensure proper climate control and energy efficiency.
• Complete and maintain documentation including applicable cGMP documents.
• Read and understand diagrams; troubleshoot electrical controls and motors.
• Act as SME for equipment and facilities; work with Production and Quality Systems; MRB actions as needed.
• Other duties as assigned.
