Job summary

Linesight is seeking a Risk Manager in Richmond, VA to lead risk modelling and governance across major projects. You will develop risk registers, run QRA workshops, and coordinate with risk owners to produce costed mitigation plans.

The role combines technical modelling with leadership across teams and client-facing responsibilities. Ideal candidates bring 12+ years in related sectors, PMI/RMP/IRM/APM towards certification, and strong experience with Primavera/Risk tools.

Qualifications

Degree in a relevant discipline or equivalent experience.
Experience delivering risk management services with a focus on modelling.
PMI/RMP/IRM/APM certification or active progression toward one.
Over 12 years in High Tech, Pharma, Data Centres, Infra or Oil & Gas.
Experience with Primavera Risk Analysis, @Risk, SafranRisk and related tools.
Knowledge of ISO 31000, COSO, AACE and PMI risk guidelines.
Strong leadership, attention to detail and ability to manage priorities.

Responsibilities

Prepare and deliver QRA workshops with stakeholders to review cost, schedule and risk.
Engage risk owners to develop realistic impact assessments and mitigations.
Develop a comprehensive risk register and project risk profile.
Create stress test scenarios for extreme risk events and present outputs.
Support the risk team with training and updates on processes as needed.
Leverage business development skills to engage new and existing clients.
