Job summary

Quva is seeking a Chemist I at our Bloomsbury, NJ site to ensure the quality and safety of pharmaceutical products. After training, you will perform validation studies for analytical methods, conduct stability analyses, or tests of raw materials, following SOPs and cGMP guidelines.

This full-time 2nd shift role runs Monday–Friday from 2:00 PM to 10:30 PM. It is safety-sensitive and may be subject to random drug testing.

Qualifications

• Minimum requirements: B.S. or M.S. in chemistry, biology or related field.
• 0–2 years of laboratory experience in the Pharmaceutical Industry.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs. and wear safety gear as required.
• Authorized to work in the United States without visa sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Conduct analytical testing of finished sterile products and raw materials per SOPs and cGMP, documenting analyses.
• Provide analytical data in a timely manner.
• Read and follow SOPs, cGMP, and safety requirements including DEA compliance.
• Draft testing protocols and reports for investigations.
• Maintain notebook records per SOPs, cGMP and cGDP.
• Recommend improvements to analytical test methods or instrumentation.
• Complete testing in a timely manner.
