Burkert USA Corp in Greater Charlotte, NC, seeks an experienced Senior Sales Leader to drive revenue in pharmaceutical and biotech markets. Lead a high-performing team, coach on strategy, and expand key accounts while collaborating with engineering and product teams to deliver compliant, customer-centric solutions.

You will guide the sales cycle end-to-end, engage with executives, and represent Burkert at industry events. Relocation is available for the right candidate.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or related field.
• 10+ years of sales experience in pharma/biotech manufacturing.
• 5+ years of proven sales leadership in pharma/biotech.
• Strong GMP/FDA regulatory knowledge and cleanroom environments.
• Proven ability to develop and manage client relationships.
• Excellent negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.
• Willingness to travel up to 50% domestically.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a high-performing sales and inside sales team to achieve revenue targets.
• Foster a coaching culture with ongoing training, feedback, and performance management.
• Drive sales performance and market expansion in pharma/biotech industries.
• Identify and cultivate relationships with key decision-makers in manufacturing, engineering, and procurement.
• Provide technical expertise and consultative selling to ensure regulatory requirements are met.
• Manage the full sales cycle from prospecting to closing and after-sales support.
• Collaborate with engineering and product development to address customer needs.
• Represent Burkert at trade shows, conferences, and industry events to boost brand visibility.
