Medical Devices Company is seeking a Scientist 1, Analytical Chemistry in Vernon Hills, IL. The role supports chemistry projects for marketed products and new development, including stability testing and method development for raw materials, in-process, and finished products.

The position requires 2–4 years in pharmaceutical analytical chemistry, hands-on wet-chemistry and instrumental techniques, and experience in FDA/GMP environments. Onsite full-time contract in a regulated setting.

Qualifications

• BS/MS in Chemistry or Pharmaceutics with related science experience.
• Proven ability to apply standard scientific methods and write clearly.

Responsibilities

• Provide analytical chemistry support for BD products and development projects.
• Contribute to stability testing programs to support process and product design changes.
• Develop and validate analytical methodologies for materials testing and release.
