Job summary

Kennywood is seeking a Costume/Make-Up Consultant for Phantom Fall Fest to transform team members into authentic characters using creme, water-based makeup, latex, and prosthetics.

The role requires strong customer service, ability to work evenings and weekends, and willingness to assist with costumes and safety oversight. Experience in special effects makeup is preferred but not required.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old to comply with state laws.
• Excellent customer service and professional communication are required.
• Ability to follow directions, multitask, and work in a fast-paced environment.
• Special effects makeup experience and portfolio are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Apply makeup and prosthetics to character performers per design.
• Assist with costume fitting and handling for events.
• Maintain safety, cleanliness, and proper storage of costumes and materials.
• Provide high-quality guest interactions and uphold park policies.
