Job description

WORK FOR A COMPANY WHOSE CULTURE IS BUILT ON RESPECT

AT PRUDENTIAL AND PGIM, YOU CAN.

Here you’ll find a high-performance culture that’s flexible, collaborative, and grounded in respect. We engage with candor, take calibrated risks, and hold ourselves accountable — always focused on delivering for our customers. It’s the standard we choose every day as we grow, perform, and win as one team.

As a Senior Analyst on the North American Distribution team, you’ll serve as a key partner to senior sales professionals, supporting their efforts to develop new relationships, deepen existing ones, and raise capital across PGIM’s investment platform. The role offers high visibility internally, regular interaction with clients, consultants, and PGIM investment professionals, and meaningful opportunities for professional growth and development.

What you can expect

  • Support senior sales professionals in covering their territories and client segments—fostering relationships, advancing opportunities, and managing day-to-day business activities
  • Prepare for and attend prospect and client meetings, including coordinating logistics, assisting in the production of meeting books and pitchbooks, and drafting meeting notes and follow-ups
  • Partner with sales and investment teams to proactively identify prospects and prepare analyses that position PGIM strategies effectively
  • Respond to client, prospect, and consultant inquiries, including data requests, strategy materials, and search-related information
  • Coordinate responses to RFPs, RFIs, and due diligence questionnaires (DDQs) alongside the RFP, product, marketing, and compliance teams
  • Conduct research and competitive analysis on institutional investors, consultants, peer managers, asset allocation trends, and industry developments
  • Maintain accurate CRM (Salesforce) data—logging call notes, updating opportunities, and contributing to pipeline tracking, business metrics, and reporting
  • Leverage core sales and research tools, including Salesforce, eVestment, Seismic, With Intelligence, FinSearches, Preqin, and various other industry databases
  • Coordinate across Portfolio Management, Product Specialists, Marketing, Consultant Relations, Client Management, Sales Enablement, Legal, and Compliance to deliver accurate, approved materials
  • Contribute to broader team initiatives focused on business growth, process improvement, and strategic priorities

What you will bring

  • 2-3 years of experience in asset management
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint, and the broader Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Experience with Salesforce or other CRM platforms, and investment databases such as eVestment, Preqin, or With Intelligence.
  • Familiarity with institutional investor types, investment consultants, and the manager search process.
  • FINRA Series 7, FINRA Series 63, and NFA Series 3 (or ability to obtain within 90 days)
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Business, Data Analytics, Statistics, or related disciplines; all majors considered.
  • Progress toward the CFA or CAIA designation is a plus.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to build relationships and present information clearly to clients, colleagues, and senior management.
