Timeline

The internship program will run from Monday, June 7th, 2027, to Friday, August 13th, 2027. Our investment professional roles are open from July 17-August 14, 2026. All other remaining roles will open on September 1st. We reserve the right to close applications early due to volume or role(s) being filled. Your Day to Day

You will be empowered to contribute in a meaningful way, add new value to organization initiatives and effect change. Within our Agency Lending business, opportunities exist within our Underwriting and Deal Management teams:

• Underwriting – Analyze potential loans to ensure they meet appropriate standards. Day-to-day responsibilities include handling the due diligence process with internal and external parties, analyzing investment strategy, cash flow assumptions, and market data, and completing detailed investment packages for credit approval.
• Portfolio or Deal Management – Key responsibilities include assisting credit officers in achieving the overall domestic and international mortgage production goals and serving as a resource for origination teams on policies and procedures throughout the life cycle of a deal. Responsibilities may include but are not limited to: Support the Real Estate Investment team in analyzing real estate debt transactions involving various capital sources such as Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac, and FHA. Assist with analytical tasks including market research, due diligence tracking, financial modeling, and preparation of materials for loan submissions across a range of multifamily property types. Help build and maintain Excel-based financial models to support property valuation and borrower credit assessments, with guidance from senior team members.

Responsibilities

• Analyze potential real estate loans and handle the due diligence process to ensure investments meet credit standards.
• Support the investment team with financial modeling, market research, and the preparation of loan submission materials.

Required Qualifications

• Candidates must be enrolled in an accredited bachelor’s program graduating between December 2027 and May 2028.
• Minimum GPA of 3.0.

Preferred Qualifications

• Finance, Economics, or Real Estate majors preferred but not required.
• Strong quantitative skills and proven analytical ability.
• Understanding of real estate and finance terms and concepts preferred.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail with ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Note: The salary range for this role is $35.00 to $40.00 an hour.

Specific pricing for the role may vary within the above range based on many factors including geographic location, candidate experience, and skills.

Roles may also be eligible for additional compensation and/or benefits.
