Job summary

Seneca Global Services, LLC is seeking a full-time PFAS Program Support Specialist to assist the Army’s ODASA(ESOH) with PFAS-related deliverables and reporting. You will maintain documentation in Teams and SharePoint, prepare written reports and briefings, and help drive data quality and transparency across the enterprise.

Qualified candidates have 3–5 years of DoD environmental program experience, PFAS knowledge, and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years supporting Army/DoD environmental programs.
• Experience with PFAS cleanup standards and activities.
• Working knowledge of CERCLA, DERP, RCRA, and SDWA preferred.
• Experience producing written reports, briefings, and metrics.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Teams/SharePoint for docs and collaboration.
• Able to travel as required and obtain Secret clearance.

Responsibilities

• Support PFAS deliverables, audits, and program tasks on schedule.

• Recommend process improvements and technology-enabled workflows.

Seneca Global Services, LLC (SGS) is seeking a full-time PFAS Program Support Specialist to support the Office of the Deputy Assistant Secretary of the Army for Environment, Safety and Occupational Health (ODASA(ESOH)). The Army has increased its focus on per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances (PFAS) and related cleanup requirements in response to evolving regulatory standards, National Defense Authorization Act requirements, and public interest. The PFAS Program Support Specialist will support the documentation, tracking, analysis, and improvement of deliverables and activities associated with PFAS and related cleanup requirements, including applicable audit milestones and criteria. The position will work closely with Army stakeholders to improve reporting, transparency, data quality, communications, and regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to

• Support staff in meeting established timelines for PFAS-related deliverables, audit activities, and other program tasks.
• Maintain program documentation and collaboration tools within Microsoft Teams and SharePoint environments.
• Recommend process and documentation improvements and identify opportunities to use technology to streamline workflows and improve transparency.
• Develop and advise on communications products that promote consistent PFAS messaging across the Army enterprise.
• Review records, key supporting documentation, and applicable system records.
• Assist with data, accounting, and financial reporting activities, including standardization efforts, analysis, work products, data calls, and congressional reporting requirements.
• Analyze proposed and current PFAS-related regulations and congressional direction and advise on Army equities and actions required to meet applicable requirements.
• Develop written reports, in-progress reviews, metrics, dashboards, presentations, briefings, and status reports.
• Support development of program deliverables, reporting metrics, and training materials.
• Review work products for technical accuracy and overall deliverable quality.
• Coordinate with Army components to support data gathering, information sharing, communication, and transparency.
• Support data analysis and documentation requirements associated with WEBCASS, EDMS, and other Army systems or websites.

Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in environmental science, environmental policy/management, natural resources, geology, chemistry, biology, environmental/civil engineering, public policy/administration, or related field; or equivalent relevant experience.
• 3-5 years supporting Army or DoD environmental programs, preferably cleanup/DERP or emerging contaminants.
  Experience supporting Army or Department of Defense environmental programs, particularly environmental cleanup or the Defense Environmental Restoration Program.
• Experience with PFAS cleanup standards and/or PFAS cleanup activities.
• Working knowledge of CERCLA, DERP, RCRA, and/or the Safe Drinking Water Act; familiarity with PFAS regulatory developments strongly preferred.
• Experience producing written reports, briefings, metrics, and senior-leader status products
• Experience with program documentation, tracking deliverables, and collaboration tools (Microsoft Teams/SharePoint).
• Strong written and verbal communication; ability to work across organizational levels.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
• Ability to travel as required.
• Ability to obtain Secret clearance.

Desired Skills:

• Direct PFAS cleanup, investigation, or drinking-water response experience.
• HQ / service-level program, audit, data-call, or congressional reporting support.
• Environmental risk assessment; CERCLA/RCRA cleanup project support.
• Power BI, Visio, and Microsoft 365 workflow tools (Approvals, Lists, etc.).
• Familiarity with WEBCASS, EDMS, or comparable Army environmental systems.
• Master's in a related field; PMP or CHMM.
