Job summary

Black & Veatch Corporation is seeking a Sr. PFAS Process Engineer in Arlington, VA. The role focuses on PFAS treatment applications in drinking water, with potential work in wastewater facilities and government sites.

You will collaborate with PFAS teams and clients to identify opportunities and deliver technical solutions. Responsibilities include technical advisory on PFAS regulations, testing protocols, and models, plus leading multiple projects and mentoring junior staff.

Qualifications

• Requires a bachelor’s degree in engineering from an accredited program.
• Advanced degree in civil, environmental, or chemical engineering preferred.
• 11 years of related experience with PFAS treatment is expected.

Responsibilities

• Lead business development or pursuit activities including proposals and client interviews.
• Serve as technical advisor on PFAS regulations and treatment processes.
• Coordinate with PFAS Initiative Team and Project Managers on new opportunities.
• Mentor junior engineers and data scientists in PFAS treatment.
• Ensure projects meet budget, schedule, and quality expectations.
