Job summary

Next Frontier Capital seeks a Petroleum Technologist to participate in the full cycle of transactional execution and support A&D and coverage functions. You will develop core skills in reservoir data management and analysis, collaborating with engineers, geologists and marketing teams.

The role involves updating reserves databases, GIS data integration, and assisting in data room presentations and market materials.

Qualifications

• Experience in A&D evaluations and reserves data management.
• Lower 48 unconventional reservoir evaluation experience preferred.
• Strong economic understanding of development field economics using reserve economic programs.
• Undergraduate degree in Engineering or technical certificate preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain and update reserves databases to support team activities.
• Work closely with engineers and geologists to ensure accurate representation of commercial and reservoir data in reserves databases.
• Support and maintain databases within reserve evaluation software such as ARIES and ComboCurve.
• Utilize GIS tools to perform spatial data analysis and visualization and assist in integrating GIS data with the reserves database to enhance data analysis capabilities.
• Assist in marketing and data room presentation creation including PowerPoint, mapping and related materials.
