Job summary

DC Army National Guard seeks a Petroleum Supply Specialist to manage receipt, storage, and shipment of petroleum products, ensuring safe handling and accurate accounting. You will operate pumping equipment to load vehicles and assess samples for quality during storage and distribution.

As you gain experience, you may take on leadership duties, supervise teammates, and help train others while following strict safety guidelines. Training is paid and includes tuition assistance and benefits.

Qualifications

• Must enlist in the Army National Guard.
• Age 17–35 and a high school diploma or GED.
• Must pass a physical exam and meet legal and moral standards.
• Citizenship requirements per NATIONALGUARD.com.

Responsibilities

• Receive and stock bulk and packaged petroleum products.
• Issue and dispense bulk fuels and water from storage and distribution facilities to using units.
• Operate pumping equipment to load trucks, ships, trains, and aircraft.
• Test petroleum samples for contamination and ensure storage safety procedures.
