Job summary

The United States Army Reserve is seeking a Petroleum Supply Specialist to support the fuel needs of Army operations, ensuring readiness at all times.

You will supervise reception, storage, and shipping of fuel, dispense to vehicles and aircraft, and maintain safe handling and transport. This role includes extensive training, certifications, and the opportunity to serve while gaining nationally recognized credentials.

Qualifications

• Age: Between 17-35 years old.
• Medical and physical fitness; good moral standing.
• Citizenship: U.S. citizen or permanent resident with a Green Card (I-551).
• Education: High school diploma or equivalent.

Job description

As a Petroleum Supply Specialist, you’ll supply the Army with the fuel it needs to maintain a state of readiness at all times. You’ll supervise and manage the reception, storage, and shipping of bulk or packaged petroleum-based products. You’ll oversee its use, dispense it to various vehicles and aircraft, and make sure it is being transported and handled safely. You will learn how refueling systems and equipment are assembled sequentially, perform quality assurance, and you’ll supply and store fuel from a variety of sources.

Testing & Certifications

• 31 Nationally Recognized Certifications Available.
• 10 weeks of Basic Training (Paid).
• 10 weeks of Advanced Individual Training (Paid).
• Requires enlistment into the United States Army or United States Army Reserve. This job is available for both.

Basic Eligibility Requirements

• Age: Between 17-35 years old.
• Medical, Moral, Physical: Medically and physically capable, and in good moral standing.
• Citizenship: A U.S. citizen or permanent resident with a valid Green Card. (I-551)
• Education: A high school diploma or equivalent.
