Job summary

Illinois Oil Marketing Equipment Inc. is seeking a mid-level field service technician to diagnose, repair, maintain, and replace components used in petroleum fueling systems. The role requires traveling 10–50% and working Monday through Friday, with on-call duties.

Responsibilities include troubleshooting fueling systems, installing equipment, programming dispensers, and diagnosing malfunctions. A valid driver's license and OSHA certifications are required; DOT driving capability is expected.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Valid driver's license with insurable driving record.
• Gilbarco fueling system experience is a plus.
• State OSHA and equipment manufacturer certifications will be provided.

• Install, pipe and wire petroleum fueling equipment.
• Program electronic fuel dispensers, monitoring equipment and POS systems.
• Analyze electronic and mechanical issues and perform repairs.
• Install new equipment after repair and test operation.
• Examine equipment, read inspection reports, and diagnose malfunctions.
• Reassemble equipment after repairs and test operation.
• Test and replace electrical components and wiring.
• Repair or replace defective parts.
• Operate company vehicle.
• Record details of repairs and parts used.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
