Job summary

United Uptime Services is seeking a skilled Petroleum Service Technician to maintain and repair fueling systems at retail and commercial sites in the Lubbock, TX region. You will diagnose, repair, and service UST/AST equipment, dispensers, and related controls, following safety protocols and OEM guidelines.

The role requires 3+ years of industry experience, Gilbarco certification, and the ability to be on-call in a rotating schedule.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of petroleum equipment service and maintenance experience.
• Gilbarco Certification is required.
• Must pass pre-employment drug test, background and DMV/DMV check.
• High school diploma or GED required.

Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled and emergency maintenance, troubleshooting and repairs on UST/AST systems and components at fueling centers.
• Take daily directions from the Service Manager or Service Dispatcher.
• Be available for on-call after-hours emergency service in rotation.

Petroleum Service Technician

United Uptime Services is a leading provider of petroleum fueling and EV charging system equipment installation and service across the United States. We're experiencing significant growth and seeking skilled Petroleum Service Technicians to join our team in Lubbock, TX and surrounding areas.

What You'll Do:

• Perform scheduled and emergency maintenance, troubleshooting and repairs on UST/AST systems and components at retail/commercial fueling centers including dispensers, pumps, controllers, POS consoles, printers, fuel management systems, leak detection equipment, lighting and electrical systems, valves, piping and more!
• Take daily directions from the Service Manager or Service Dispatcher
• Respond to after-hours emergency service requests for "site down" or other priority situations in an on-call rotation
• Perform required prerequisite work necessary to obtain and maintain certification from original equipment manufacturers
• Follow all customer protocols and procedures including customers safety and housekeeping guidelines

What We're Looking For:

• Industry Experience: 3+ years with petroleum equipment service and maintenance, along with certifications in the following areas, is highly preferred.
• Gilbarco Certification (REQUIRED)
• Verifone, Passport, Ruby point-of-sale systems
• Veeder Root, Franklin Evos tank monitoring systems
• Red Jacket, Franklin motors and controllers
• Customer Service Driven: Available to be on call and capable of completing all work efficiently while maintaining strong client relationships
• A Strong Educational Foundation: High school diploma or GED required
• Pre-Employment Testing: Must pass drug test, background and DMVR check.
