PETROLEUM INSPECTOR - Erlanger, KY
Pay: $22.00 - $24.00 per hour depending on experience
SUMMARY: Oil and Petroleum Inspectors visit client facilities, including barges and ships, shore tanks, railcars, and tank trucks for quantity surveys of a variety of commodities including petroleum and petrochemicals inspection and collect samples for laboratory analysis.

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE: High school diploma or general education development certificate (GED). Knowledge of company HS&E procedures and associated governmental regulations.
LANGUAGE SKILLS: Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS: Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
REASONING ABILITY: Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagrammatic form. Ability to deal with problems involving variables in standardized situations.
CERTIFICATES, LICENSE, REGISTRATIONS: Maintain a valid driver’s license and a working vehicle (car or truck, no motorcycles), at all times.
