Job summary

DC Army National Guard seeks a Petroleum Supply Specialist to ensure proper handling, storage, and shipment of fuels for Soldiers. Responsibilities include supervising reception, storage, and distribution of bulk or packaged petroleum products and operating pumping equipment to support loads for trucks, ships, trains, and aircraft.

As experience grows, you may supervise and train others, assign duties, and ensure adherence to safety procedures and storage guidelines.

Qualifications

• Physical fitness and ability to perform manual tasks.
• Basic mechanical understanding and shop math skills.
• Willingness to learn and operate fueling equipment.

Responsibilities

• Receive and stock bulk and package fuels and water.
• Issue and dispense fuels to using units from storage facilities.
