Job summary

Camin Cargo is seeking a Laboratory Technician II to perform intermediate to advanced testing on crude oil, refined products, and petrochemicals in our Pasadena, TX lab. This role supports data interpretation, report preparation, and adherence to safety and regulatory standards.

The ideal candidate has a chemistry/chemical engineering background with at least 3 years of oil and gas laboratory experience, strong attention to detail, and proficiency with Microsoft Office.

Qualifications

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or a related scientific discipline.
• Minimum of 3 years of laboratory experience in oil and gas industry.
• Knowledge of ASTM, API, and ISO testing standards.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Strong attention to detail and teamwork abilities.

Responsibilities

• Perform intermediate to advanced laboratory tests on crude oil, refined petroleum, petrochemical products, and QC samples.
• Review and interpret data, prepare reports, and communicate results to cross-functional teams.
• Maintain calibration, maintenance, and troubleshooting of laboratory instruments.
