Perfect Pair ABA is seeking a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) for Petersburg, VA, with part-time and full-time opportunities. The role supports RBTs, develops data-driven programming, and guides families toward successful outcomes.

Qualifications

• Active BCBA credential through the BACB.
• Active state license (LBA) as required by location.
• Master's or Doctorate in Applied Behavior Analysis or related field.
• Background check clearance required/preferred.
• CPR/First Aid certification preferred before start date.

Responsibilities

• Mentor and supervise RBTs with understanding guidance and compassionate communication.
• Design evidence-based programming hierarchy using client data and ongoing assessments.
• Guide families toward successful programming outcomes with ongoing support.
• Collaborate with other service providers to enhance client experiences beyond Perfect Pair.
• Foster a culture of collaboration and positivity within the team.

Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) Job Duties:

• Support our Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) by offering mentorship, understanding guidance, compassionate communication, and attentive supervision.
• Design a thoughtful, evidence-based programming hierarchy that respects and reflects client data, acknowledges their progress, and incorporates ongoing assessments to support their journey.
• Offer continuous support and guidance for families, helping them navigate the journey toward successful programming outcomes together.
• Welcome collaboration with other service providers beyond Perfect Pair, embracing the value of working together to enhance the experiences of those we serve.
• Foster a culture of collaboration and positivity within the team.

Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) Qualifications:

• Hold an active Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) credential through the BACB
• Maintain an active state license (LBA) as required based on location
• Master's or Doctorate in Applied Behavior Analysis or related field
• Active Adult and Child CPR/First Aid certification, obtained before the start date is preferred
• Ability to complete and pass a background check
• Excellent interpersonal and professional communication skills across all formats and scenarios
• Retain a reliable vehicle and valid driver's license for commuting to the home of clients
