Job summary

Pet Supplies Plus in Seymour, IN is seeking a Warehouse Team Member to support picking, packing and shipping of merchandise for our store supply chain. You will handle orders, assemble items for shipment, and help maintain accuracy and quality in daily operations.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years of related experience, can stand most of the day, and are able to lift up to 65 lbs. You will contribute to a safe, clean, and efficient warehouse environment.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of related experience.
• High School Diploma/GED preferred.
• Experience in warehouse picking, shipping, quality auditing preferred.
• Ability to stand or walk up to 95% of the time.
• Ability to lift heavy products (40-65 lbs.) 50% of the time.
• Ability to push/pull 40% of the time.
• Ability to bend at the waist, twist and stoop 40% of the time.
• Fine motor skills in use 10-15% of the time.

Responsibilities

• Accurately picking customer orders for shipment and ensuring correct items are loaded.
• Assembling various types of merchandise for shipment.
• Carrying or transporting orders to shipping locations with material handling equipment.
• Repacking and weighing orders when necessary and reporting variances.
• Ensuring standards for quality, customer service, health and safety.
• Maintaining a clean and orderly work environment.
• Assisting in physical inventories as required.
• Performing other duties and special projects as assigned.
