The ideal candidate will possess customer-focused retail experience, and strong communication skills, and be able to create a safe environment. This role requires flexibility for evenings and weekends to accommodate pet parent needs and maintain a clean training area while selling training classes and educating customers on pet training benefits.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of retail experience in a customer-focused environment.
• Accredited in PetSmart Training Instructor Course.
• Proficiency in computer applications.
• Ability to react under pressure and maintain composure.
• Flexibility in schedule, able to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Engage with pet parents and deliver pet training services.
• Sell training classes in-store, over the phone, and online.
• Create a safe environment for pets and people during classes.
• Maintain paperwork related to pet training.
