Ideal candidates will have 1-2 years of retail experience and be accredited in the PetSmart Training Instructor Course. Additional skills in communication and organization are essential. Qualifications

• 1-2 years of retail experience in a customer-focused environment.
• Accredited in PetSmart Training Instructor Course.
• Proficiency in computer applications.
• Ability to react under pressure and maintain composure.
• Flexibility in schedule, able to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for pet parent experience and outcomes.
• Actively sell training classes.
• Educates pet parents about the benefits of pet training.
• Maintains all paperwork related to pet training.
• Schedules training classes.
• Responsible for creating a safe environment.
• Ensures the training area is clean and presentable.
• Recognizes associates for contributions to training sales.
• Responsible for taking action when a pet is identified as sick/injured.
• Recommends merchandise and services.
• Assists in other departments as needed.
