Qualifications

• Successful completion of the Pet Stylist Apprentice program with Petco, or previous professional grooming experience.
• High-school diploma or GED preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and care for animals with good communication.

Responsibilities

• Perform professional grooming services including bathing, drying, brushing, trimming and styling per client instructions.
• Operate grooming instruments and maintain equipment cleanliness and safety.
• Ensure pet well-being, monitor for discomfort, and report concerns to owners and management.
• Provide grooming recommendations and maintain a clean, sanitary salon.
