Job summary

Petco Animal Supplies, Inc. is seeking a professional Pet Stylist to provide expert grooming services for our customers' pets, prioritizing safety, comfort and high‑quality results. You will bathe, trim, style, and maintain a clean, safe grooming area while delivering exceptional customer service.

You should have completed the Pet Stylist Apprentice program or equivalent grooming training, be able to work weekends and evenings, and stay current with breed standards and Petco policies.

Qualifications

• Completion of Pet Stylist Apprentice program or equivalent grooming training.
• High school diploma preferred but not required.
• Ability to work weekends, evenings, and holidays.
• Strong technical grooming skills across breeds.

Responsibilities

• Perform professional grooming services (bathing, drying, brushing, cuts) per client instructions.
• Operate grooming tools (clippers, blades, shears, brushes, dryers).
• Prioritize safety and well-being of pets and address concerns.
• Assess coat type, skin condition, and temperament.
• Provide excellent customer service and grooming recommendations.
• Educate on at-home grooming and care.
