Petco Animal Supplies, Inc. is looking for a skilled Pet Stylist to deliver high-quality grooming services for dogs and cats at our Redmond grooming salon. You will shape coats, trim nails, and maintain a clean, safe environment while delivering friendly, knowledgeable care to pet parents.

Qualifications

• Completion of Pet Stylist Apprentice program or equivalent grooming training.
• High-school diploma or GED preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and passion for grooming animals.
• Ability to work weekends/evenings/holidays as required.

Responsibilities

• Perform professional grooming services (bathing, drying, brushing, haircuts, nail trimming, ear cleaning) per client instructions and breed standards.
• Operate and maintain grooming tools (clippers, blades, shears, brushes, dryers).
• Prioritize safety and well‑being of every pet, monitor for discomfort, report concerns to owners/management.
• Evaluate each pet's needs based on coat type, skin conditions, and temperament.
• Interact professionally with pet parents; provide grooming recommendations and excellent customer service.
• Educate owners on at‑home grooming maintenance and products."
• Maintain a clean, sanitized grooming area; follow hygiene policies and routine cleaning duties.
• Potentially train/supervise entry-level trainees in the absence of leadership.
