Job summary

Pet Zoo Alaska, LLC is seeking a Team Lead to ensure outstanding customer service across all shifts and to supervise store personnel under the direction of the Store Manager. You will answer customer questions, direct shift operations, and model company policies to the team while safeguarding assets and maintaining safety standards.

You will lead by example in all areas of the store—from cashier to warehouse—supporting promotions, inventory accuracy, and daily cash reconciliation.

Qualifications

• Ability to communicate with associates and customers.
• Ability to motivate, coach, train, and lead a team of peers professionally and effectively.
• Attention to detail and accuracy in documentation and transactions.
• Proficiency with MS Office and POS systems.

Responsibilities

• Operate and train others in all store areas: warehouse, receiving, pets department, or cashier.
• Lead by example and foster a friendly environment with customers.
• Maintain store cleanliness and supervise in Store Manager's absence.
• Understand inventory procedures, counts, and product information.
• Direct merchandising, pricing, stocking, and backstock procedures.
