Job summary

Hollywood Feed in Toledo, OH is seeking a Retail Sales Associate. You will greet customers, learn products, and help maintain a safe, inviting store environment to support profitability.

Report to Store Manager; you will operate the POS, process transactions, stock shelves, assist with deliveries, attend training sessions, and deliver excellent service while following our customer-first policy.

Qualifications

• Commitment to animals and their owners.
• Strong verbal communication and active listening skills.
• Proven sales and customer service abilities.
• Knowledge of store products or ability to learn quickly.
• Ability to operate or learn the point-of-sale system.
• Valid driver's license with at least 2 years' driving experience.

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist customers according to Hollywood Feed's established customer service standards.
• Demonstrate knowledge of store products to address customer and pet needs.
• Uphold respectful and open communication with supervisors, coworkers, and customers.
• Work efficiently both independently and collaboratively as a team member.
• Unload and stock product deliveries.
• Operate the Hollywood Feed POS system (opening/closing registers, creating customer accounts, processing transactions, inventory counts).
• Participate in all scheduled Hollywood Feed educational sessions.
• Complete routine weekly store maintenance (restroom cleaning, sweeping, mopping, dusting, updating prices).
• Safely operate company vehicles and deliver Same Day Delivery orders in accordance with policies.
