Job summary

Hollywood Feed is seeking a Third Key Holder for Bark 'n Purr in Austin, TX. You will open/close the store, assist customers, and ensure safe, efficient operations while upholding our customer-first policy.

This role offers an hourly wage of $15.50 to $19 and requires weekend availability, strong service skills, and the ability to learn product lines quickly. A valid driver's license is required for potential deliveries.

Qualifications

• Strong verbal communication and active listening skills.
• Proven sales and customer service abilities.
• Knowledge of store products or ability to learn quickly.
• Valid driver's license with at least 2 years' driving experience.

Responsibilities

• Arrive prior to opening and stay after closing to prepare for business operations.
• Assume managerial responsibilities in the absence of management.
• Greet and assist customers according to Hollywood Feed standards.
• Demonstrate knowledge of store products to address pets' and customers' needs.
• Maintain open and respectful communication with supervisors and coworkers.
• Work independently and as part of a team, training new employees.
• Open and weekend availability including closing 3 nights per week.
• Unload and stock product deliveries.
• Operate Hollywood Feed POS system: opening/closing registers, creating customer accounts, processing transactions, inventory cycle counts.
• Participate in all scheduled educational sessions.
• Complete weekly store maintenance and display updates.
• Perform additional administrative duties as assigned.
• Safely operate company vehicles and deliver Same Day Delivery orders according to policies.
