Job summary

Pet Supplies Plus is seeking a friendly Part-Time Store Cashier / Stocker to deliver excellent service to our neighbors and care for store pets. This dual role combines cashiering, customer service, and stock inventory in a fast-paced, pet-friendly retail setting.

Successful candidates will have a high school diploma (or equivalent), be able to relocate if not local, and enjoy working on a team with flexible hours and an employee discount on pet supplies.

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Experience: Previous retail cashier/stocker/customer service experience is a plus but not required.
• Reliability: Dependable transportation and regular, punctual attendance.

Responsibilities

• Customer Service: Assist neighbors throughout the store, at checkout, and to their car with a warm, helpful attitude.
• Cashiering: Process retail transactions accurately at the POS system.
• Merchandising & Stocking: Stock shelves, organize inventory, keep the store neat and clean.
• Pet Care: Care for live animals in store, ensuring habitats are clean and safe.
