Job summary

Destination Pet in Indianapolis is seeking a friendly Bather to join our grooming team. You’ll help pups feel at home by bathing, blow-drying, brushing, and prepping them for their spa day, while keeping a clean, safe, and cheerful salon environment.

We value a positive attitude, reliability, and love for animals. This hands-on role requires standing for long periods, lifting 50+ lbs, and weekend/evening availability; training is provided to the right candidate.

Qualifications

• Experience with animals is a plus but not required.
• Must be able to lift 50+ lbs.
• On-your-feet, sometimes-sweaty role.
• Availability evenings, weekends, and holidays required.

Responsibilities

• Bath dogs of all sizes with care.
• Blow dry, brush, and prep for grooming.
• Trim nails and brush teeth after training.
• Assist groomers with tasks and hold/fetch.
• Keep the salon clean and guest-ready.
• Notify front desk when pups are ready to go home.
