Job summary

Passionately Pets, a local in-home pet sitting and dog walking company, is seeking dependable pet sitters to join our team. You will visit homes to care for dogs, cats and other animals, walking, feeding and monitoring their well-being.

Set your own hours, earn $24–$28 per hour plus tips, and enjoy the outdoors while staying active. Must have reliable transportation, a smartphone with data plan, and the ability to pass a background check.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Visit client homes on weekdays, weekends, and holidays as needed.
• Care for pets (dogs, cats and others) during visits.
• Walk pets as requested and feed them per instructions.
• Ensure water supply and clean litter or cages as needed.
• Report any issues to Management and document visits.

Passionately Pets, a local In-Home Pet Sitting and Dog Walking Company, is currently hiring exceptional pet sitters anddog walkersto join our wonderfulteam. This position isfun and rewarding as you get to enjoy the outdoors, get exercise and be loved by amazing local dogs, cats and other companion animals!

Pet SitterResponsibilities:

• Workweekdays, weekends and holidays, as visits vary based on client needs
• Enterthe homes of clients and visit with their pets for varying lengths of time (usually 15- 30 minutes each)
• Act as primary care givers for pets while their owners are away
• Walk pets as requested
• Feedpets as requested
• Provide appropriate litterbox and/or cage clean up as required
• Check that pets have ample, clean water supply and refill as necessary
• Patrol homes for accidents ordamage caused by pets in the absence of their owners
• Clean any accidents or damage discovered in homes of our clients
• Communicate with Management

Pet Sitter Requirements and Qualifications:

• NorthernVA residence within 5miles of 22314 is preferred
• Must have your own, reliable mode of transportation to perform the duties and responsibilities associated with this role
• Must have your own reliable Smart Phone with internet access and data plan
• Must be extremely detail oriented
• Able to follow detailed instructions
• Must be responsible, reliable, and dependable
• Must be timely and punctual
• Must be able toself-manage
• Possess excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Must be compassionate about animals
• Must feel comfortable working withand interacting with both small and large animals
• Must be willing to walk and drive in all weather conditions
• Must be able to make at least a 6month commitment, however longer is preferred
• Must be able to passcriminalbackground check
