Job summary

Chloe’s Pet Care in the Atlanta metropolitan area is looking for a part-time Pet Sitter with flexible hours. This in-home, local role includes daytime care, dog walks, drop-in visits, and occasional overnight sits to support busy families.

You will feed, provide fresh water, monitor well-being, and offer enrichment activities while communicating timely updates to guardians. Relevant experience is valued, but training is provided; a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation are helpful

Qualifications

• Strong Animal Care and Pet Care skills with understanding of basic health, safety, and behavior. Training provided.
• Pet Sitting and House Sitting skills, reliable in-home care, routine management, respect for clients’ property.
• Excellent Communication skills for updates, responsive client interaction, accurate reporting of pet status.
• Experience with enrichment-based activities, dog walking, and cat care is beneficial.
• Ability to work independently, follow detailed instructions, manage time across multiple visits.
• Comfort handling pets of varying sizes, ages, temperaments, including multi-pet households.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation within the Atlanta Metropolitan Area; willingness to travel locally.
• Prior professional pet care experience or relevant training in animal behavior is a plus but not strictly necessary

Role Description:

The Pet Sitter role is a part-time, flexible-hours position based in the Atlanta Metropolitan Area. As a pet sitter, you will work in and around Sandy Springs (Dunwoody, Buckhead, Chamblee, Brookhaven) providing in-home care for clients’ pets. Services of the pet sitter include dog walks, drop-in visits, extended daytime care, and overnight pet sitting . During-visit r esponsibilities may include feeding, providing fresh water, administering basic medications as directed, and ensuring pets have a clean, safe environment. The pet sitter may offer walks, playtime, and enrichment activities tailored to each animal’s needs, as well as basic grooming tasks such as brushing and cleaning up after pets. The role also involves monitoring pet behavior and well-being, communicating promptly with pet guardians, and providing detailed visit updates. Additional duties may include light house sitting tasks related to pet care, such as bringing in mail, adjusting lights, and maintaining home security standards, while adhering to company policies and client instructions.

Pay starts around $16–$20/hour for daytime care and $60+ per overnight
