Chewy is hiring full-time Pharmacists to join our online neighborhood pharmacy in Goodyear, AZ. You will verify medication orders, review dosing and interactions, and communicate with veterinarians and pet parents.

You will supervise technicians and ensure compliance with all regulations while using multiple pharmacy systems. The role requires a PharmD or Bachelor of Pharmacy and an active AZ license, with flexibility to work varying schedules.

Formación

• Requires active Arizona pharmacist license in good standing.
• Bachelor's or Doctor of Pharmacy degree required.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment; strong attention to detail.

Responsabilidades

• Interpret and verify medication orders with precision and accuracy.
• Review prescriber orders for dosing, interactions, and contraindications.
• Communicate effectively with veterinarians, staff, and pet parents as needed.
• Supervise and mentor pharmacy technicians and interns.
• Maintain records to comply with federal/state laws and policies.
• Uphold operational standards, safety, and compliance.
• Process prescriptions using multiple computer tools.
• Respond to calls from veterinarians and pet parents to provide efficient care.
• Conduct medication count audits.
• Collaborate with a team of pharmacists and adapt to changing work assignments.
