PET Operations Advisor – Contract Manufacturing

Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking a technically adept professional to support contract manufacturing for sponsor PET products within Nuclear & Precision Health Solutions. The role requires significant travel (75–80%), training other staff, and acting as a technical expert for contract manufacturing.

You will support PET manufacturing sites, ensure quality control, and manage SAP-related issues while enabling continuous improvement across quality, regulatory, and EH&S programs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related scientific or technical field or equivalent experience.
• 2–4 years of experience in a similar role, preferably PET manufacturing.
• Ability to train and coach colleagues from technical expertise.
• Must obtain cyclotron Authorized user certification within 12 months of hire.
• Must obtain media fill qualification within 12 months of hire.
• Advanced knowledge of SAP is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Contract manufacturing of sponsor products within Nuclear & Precision Health Solutions PET organization.
• Travel 75-80% of the time.
• Support PET manufacturing sites with CMO activities including QC, radiation safety, cGMP, EH&S.
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives with quality, regulatory, and finance teams.
• Support the training team as needed.
• Troubleshoot and correct issues in SAP.
• Train others for SAP and media fill.
• Perform plant maintenance as needed.
• Handle facility material ordering.
• Perform end of month inventory synchronization.
• Act as technical expert for contract manufacturing.
• Conduct onboarding training for new hires.
• Train employees on products in Quality Control and production areas.
• Participate in projects.
• Communicate contingency plans with pharmacy and/or other PET sites.
• May act as Quality Assurance designee, Radiation Safety Officer (RSO) and/or EHS leader.
• Troubleshoot and perform basic maintenance on equipment and send it out for recalibration.
• Perform minor maintenance on the cyclotron and interpret different error codes.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Ability to train and coach others from technical expertise
• Prior PET manufacturing site experience preferred
• Sr. Technician level preferred, will consider other technician levels (proficient in all duties and responsibilities)
• Must obtain cyclotron Authorized user certification within 1 year of hire
• Must obtain media fill qualification within 1 year of hire
• Ability to do plant maintenance
• Advanced knowledge in SAP strongly preferred
