Job summary

vTech Solution is seeking a PET Technologist to perform diagnostic and therapeutic procedures using radiopharmaceuticals. You will operate imaging equipment, monitor patient well-being, and ensure accurate records in a team setting.

The role requires PET Scanner Certification or CNMT/ARRT eligibility, strong safety practices, and the ability to work independently while following NYS regulations and radiation safety protocols.

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
• PET Scanner Certification or equivalent.
• Certified PET Technologist (ARRT or CNMT) or board eligible.
• Knowledge of radiation safety procedures and regulatory compliance.
• Ability to prepare and administer radioactive materials safely.

Responsibilities

• Perform PET scans safely according to established protocols.
• Determine radionuclide dosage and type under Radiologist guidance.
• Prepare, administer, and measure radioactive isotopes within license limits.
• Receive, store, and dispose of radioactive materials in compliance with regulations.
• Prepare stock solutions and calculate dosages of radioactive materials.
