Acredale Animal Hospital – Kempsville in Virginia Beach, VA seeks a Bather to support our grooming team by performing baths, preparing patients, and keeping the grooming suite clean and safe. You will help with nail trims, ear cleaning, and patient handoffs while upholding our WAG values and providing excellent client service. Qualifications

• Knowledge of cleaning methods and proper animal restraint.
• Ability to handle cleaning materials safely and efficiently.
• Ability to perform moderately heavy physical labor.
• Strong client service and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Providing Patient Care: administer baths, prep patients for appointments, ensure cleanliness of grooming suite.
• Monitoring Animal Health: recognize unusual conditions and report to groomer/veterinarian.
• Managing Client Handoffs: assist with admitting and releasing patients.
• Maintaining the Grooming Suite: clean and disinfect cages, tubs, tables and equipment to OSHA standards.
• Educating Clients: explain and educate clients on products and their use.
