Job summary

Petco in Mobile, AL is seeking a dedicated Pet Stylist to provide professional grooming services to our clients' dogs. You will bathe, dry, trim and style coats with care, ensuring comfort and safety while delivering excellent customer service.

Successful completion of the Pet Stylist Apprentice program or equivalent grooming experience is preferred; weekend/evening availability is required, and you will work with top grooming tools and supportive teammates to grow your skills.

Qualifications

• Completion of Pet Stylist Apprentice program or prior grooming experience.
• High-school diploma/GED preferred, not required.
• Willingness to work weekends, evenings and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Perform professional grooming services including bathing, drying, brushing, cuts and styling.
• Maintain clean, safe grooming area and sanitize tools and equipment.
• Interact with pet parents, explain grooming aftercare and provide recommendations.
• Train, support or supervise entry-level trainees when needed.
