Velocity Staffing in Texas is seeking experienced Pet Groomers, Dog Groomers, and Pet Stylists to join our pack. You’ll deliver expert grooming services in a welcoming salon, turning messy coats into polished looks while building strong relationships with pet parents.

As a groomer, you’ll work with dogs of all sizes, maintain safety and comfort, and collaborate with the store team to grow your client base through outstanding service. Flexible schedule supports work-life balance.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of professional pet grooming experience.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Experience with breed-standard cuts and finishing techniques.

Responsibilities

• Provide full-service dog grooming including bathing, brushing, clipping, and styling.
• Groom to breed standards or customize based on each pet parent’s request.
• Safely handle and groom dogs of various sizes, breeds, and temperaments.
• Deliver a grooming experience that showcases every pet’s best day.
• Build relationships with neighbors and recommend pet products and services.
• Ensure the safety, comfort, and well-being of all pets in your care.
• Maintain a clean, safe grooming salon environment.
• Support store events and grow your client base through great service.
• Continue developing grooming techniques and skills to grow your career.
