Meyers Pet Care in Belvidere, IL is seeking a full-time PET GROOMER with at least two years of professional dog grooming experience to join our growing team. You will be responsible for bathing, drying, brushing, and the full grooming process to ensure each pet leaves looking their best.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 2+ years grooming in pet salon or veterinary setting.
• Excellent work history and references.
• Ability to use in-house software, email, Word and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Bathing, drying, brushing and coat knowledge for all breeds.
• Perform specialized spa treatments.
• Ear cleaning and nail trimming/filing.
• Complete final grooming and balance of pets' look.
• Cleaning and opening/closing duties.
