• Strong animal handling skills with patience and compassion.
• Ability to groom all breeds to standard styles or customer specifications.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining quality standards.
• Physical stamina to stand for long periods and lift animals up to 50 lbs safely.

Responsibilities

• Provide full-service grooming including bathing, brushing, clipping, trimming, nail care, ear cleaning, and other services as requested.
• Consult with pet owners to understand grooming needs and special instructions.
• Ensure the safety and well-being of all pets in care, using proper handling techniques.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of grooming tools, workstations, and equipment.
• Manage grooming appointments efficiently to maximize productivity while minimizing stress for pets.
• Recommend and promote appropriate products or services to customers.
• Monitor pets for signs of stress, illness, or injury and report concerns to management.
