Lewis Veterinary Clinic in Linden, PA is seeking an Experienced Pet Groomer for a full-time role with a flexible schedule Monday through Friday, no weekends or holidays. You will provide grooming services based on each pet’s needs, bathing, brushing, trimming, nails, and safety.

Qualifications

• Must have previous professional pet grooming experience.
• Veterinary assistant experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional grooming services based on each pet’s individual needs.
• Bathe, brush, trim, and groom pets according to client requests.
• Perform nail trims and routine grooming services.
• Safely handle and restrain pets throughout the grooming process.
• Monitor pets for signs of stress, discomfort, or health concerns.
• Communicate concerns to the veterinary team when appropriate.
• Talk with clients about grooming preferences and expectations.
• Provide clear, friendly, and professional client communication.
• Maintain accurate grooming notes and client preferences.
• Keep grooming tools, equipment, and work areas clean and organized.
• Follow established safety and sanitation protocols.
• Collaborate with the veterinary team to support pets with overlapping medical or grooming needs.
• Help create a positive experience for pets and their owners.
