Camp 4 Paws is seeking a dedicated Full-Time Dog & Cat Groomer to join our energetic pet-care team. You will deliver professional grooming services, tailor styling to each breed, and build trusting relationships with pet owners in a hands-on, client-facing role.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of professional pet grooming experience.
• Knowledge of pet coat styling and nail trimming.
• Veterinary experience background is a plus.

• Experience with animal handling across species is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional grooming services including bathing, trimming, styling, and pet coat styling tailored to each dog’s breed and individual needs
• Handle dogs safely and confidently using proper animal restraint techniques to ensure comfort and security during grooming procedures
• Perform pet nail trimming, ear cleaning, brushing, and other grooming tasks with precision and care
• Communicate effectively with pet owners to understand grooming preferences and offer advice on pet coat maintenance and overall care
• Maintain a clean, organized grooming area by sanitizing tools and equipment regularly
• Assist with pet handling during appointments, ensuring animals are calm and comfortable throughout the process
• Support additional animal care activities such as light veterinary assistance or basic health assessments when needed

Requirements

• Proven experience - minimum of 5 years - in pet grooming, including dog handling and animal restraint techniques
• Knowledge of pet coat styling, pet nail trimming, and general animal care practices
• Background in veterinary experience, veterinary technician or assistant roles is a plus
• Strong communication skills to engage with pet owners professionally and empathetically
• Ability to lift heavy objects such as large dogs or equipment safely and comfortably
• Experience with animal handling across various species is advantageous but not mandatory
• A dedicated team player with a passion for animal welfare and customer service excellence

• Professional dog grooming experience required - minimum of 5 years.
• Cat grooming experience preferred.
