Job summary

Ingersoll Animal Hospital in Des Moines is seeking a cat and dog groomer to join our busy team. You will groom both cats and dogs, provide exceptional client service, and help maintain high standards of care and animal welfare.

Requirements include a high school diploma or GED, grooming experience for both cats and dogs, ability to lift 35+ lbs, and willingness to pass a background check and drug screen. Full-time benefits available.

Ingersoll Animal Hospital is a busy animal hospital looking for a cat and dog groomer to add to our team! If you have experience grooming cats and dogs, have excellent customer service and communication skills, a great sense of urgency, an excellent attention to detail, and love animals, this may be the position for you!

Responsibilities and Duties

Upholding our standards of care and customer service while also:

• Grooming both canines and felines
• Communicating effectively with clients in various types of situations including sedation as needed.
• Using the computer/various technology to accurately retrieve records, print daily reports, and complete projects as needed

REQUIREMENTS

Highschool diploma, GED, or equivalent. A bility to lift 35+ lbs . Previous grooming experience for both canines and felines. Must pass a routine background check and drug screen .
