Pay Range

This range is provided by Woof Gang Bakery & Grooming. Your actual pay will depend on your skills and experience. Please discuss with your recruiter to learn more.

Base Pay

• This is a commission-based job paying 50% plus tips. The weekly pay of $1200 is based solely on commissions, tips not included.
• You must be an experienced dog groomer capable of fully grooming four dogs per day.
• Workdays are Friday, Saturday, Sunday, and Monday only.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the grooming facility is clean and sanitized at all times.
• Groom animals using techniques suitable for their breed, coat, and owner instructions.
• Bath, dry, perform pedicures, and clean ears of animals.
• Maintain grooming equipment and the grooming area, including cleaning cages, tubs, and tools.
• Recommend retail products for pet grooming and well-being.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• At least one year of grooming experience.
• Knowledge of breed-specific grooming styles and tools.
• Experience with hand scissoring techniques preferred.
• Ability to handle dogs and cats confidently.
• Friendly, upbeat personality with excellent customer service skills.
• Self-motivated and team-oriented.
• Good organization and multi-tasking skills.
• Physical ability to bend, kneel, squat, stand, and lift heavy objects.
• Availability to work days, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
